Mientras serv\u00eda en la Polic\u00eda de la Real Fuerza A\u00e9rea, obtuve el t\u00edtulo de adiestrador de perros militares. A medida que avanzaba en mi carrera y con los ascensos, me cualifiqu\u00e9 y desempe\u00f1\u00e9 otras funciones, entre ellas, la de investigador especial, realizando varios cursos de formaci\u00f3n de polic\u00eda civil, contrainteligencia, funciones de instructor y seguridad en el transporte a\u00e9reo. Todas estas funciones me dieron la oportunidad de viajar por todo el mundo, a algunos lugares agradables y no tan agradables. Sin embargo, segu\u00ed participando activamente en el adiestramiento de perros y tuve la responsabilidad general de las secciones caninas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Al dejar el ej\u00e9rcito, he recibido formaci\u00f3n y he llevado a cabo tareas operativas en el \u00e1mbito de la detecci\u00f3n canina de explosivos y drogas, donde he trabajado con \u00e9xito en eventos de alto nivel, como los Juegos Ol\u00edmpicos de Londres y el Royal Ascot. He obtenido mi t\u00edtulo de profesor (PTLLS) y he estado muy involucrado en la formaci\u00f3n inicial y continua tanto de perros como de adiestradores en una variedad de disciplinas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Me form\u00e9 como Manejador Canino de Detecci\u00f3n de Chinches hace casi 10 a\u00f1os y, adem\u00e1s de entrenar a perros y manejadores, he estado totalmente operativo llevando a cabo b\u00fasquedas en una variedad de lugares en todo el Reino Unido, incluyendo hoteles, albergues, hogares de cuidado, centros de aventura para ni\u00f1os, viviendas sociales, residencias privadas y centros de detenci\u00f3n. Recientemente me he convertido en evaluador de la Fundaci\u00f3n de chinches de cama (BBF) y acabo de empezar a desempe\u00f1ar el nuevo papel de representante de la BBF para el Reino Unido. Ambos cargos los desempe\u00f1o con mucha ilusi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Me gusta trabajar con perros, aprender nuevas habilidades y desarrollar a los adiestradores. He ampliado mis conocimientos al realizar recientemente una licenciatura en ciencias, estudios caninos (con distinci\u00f3n).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participo en la BBF porque creo que es una organizaci\u00f3n que est\u00e1 decidida y que, mediante evaluaciones independientes, puede garantizar que sus equipos caninos sean reputados y de alto nivel.
